Having fond memories of my own years as a "ballerina," I couldn't wait to get my own little girl in a tutu. Coincidentally, the same week that the Prima Princessa DVD arrived, my daughter received a tutu as a gift from a family member, and so naturally we put both on together to prepare for her first ballet lesson. Created by moms and combining the Paris Opera Ballet and Students from School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center, the Prima Princessa DVD is a must for any ballerina in training. My daughter's favorite part was watching the girls pirouette, and mine was watching her attempt to do the same. She was prepared for her first Mommy & Me dance class, and was the Prima Ballerina after practicing up with Prima Princessa! Purchase Prima Princessa at Amazon & get ready to dance.Cool Giveaway: Enter to win a Prima Princessa DVD by leaving a comment on this post about the DVD video clip on their site. This Dvd looks so cute! I love how they even show parts of a real ballet in it! Thanks for entering me.

I think its great how the video walks the line between catering to kids (with the cartoon narrator) and yet not pandering to them (by including real professional ballet). Thanks for the chance! alicedemske at hotmail.com

I love the format, with the "pirouette" lesson at the end. This makes it extra educational and interactive, which is perfect for this age group.
